Your Path, Your Choices

- Have a Plan? Great! Start your major, but stay flexible - most students change majors. Explore options to broaden your horizons.

- Advisor Expectations: Think faculty mentor, not high school counselor. They'll help you navigate options and consequences, but you'll solve your own problems.

- Non-Major to Major Advisor: New students are initially assigned a non-major advisor, a specially trained faculty first-year advisor. Once you declare a major, then you are assigned a faculty major advisor in your degree program.
